Apartments are located in the small village Zavala, on the south side oh Island Hvar. It takes about 15 minutes with the car from the port of Stari Grad to Jelsa (about 10km), and another 15 min from Jelsa to Zavala. When you are passing by the Jelsa you should go to PITVE / ZAVALA / IVAN DOLAC. You should pass village PITVE and the old tunnel. There are traffic light (semaphore) at the entrance of tunnel ,so the traffic goes in one direction for 5-6min and for 5-6 min in the opposite direction. When you pass the old tunnel you will be at the SOUTH SIDE OF ISLAND HVAR. You should go downhill and turn LEFT at the crossroad ZAVAL - IVAN DOLAC. LAST 500m After about 150m you will see sign ZAVALA, after that drive slowly. You should follw the road and on the first small crossroad turn on the RIGHT. There are signs "SKALINADA", "CAMP", "VILLA TAMARA" etc. Follow the road to the end, for about 200m. There you will see house "Nautilus-Bay" turn on the RIGHT and after 10m first house on the LEFT will be "APARTMANTS NAUTIC" you will see big parking. SUMMARY: -You shoud arrive in the Port of Stari Grad (take a ferry from Split see web page Ferry boat) -Drive to Zavala, pass small town Jelsa, village Pitve, old tunnel and you will be on the south side of Island -Follow our instructions for the last 500m from the sign ZAVALA. Town of Hvar
is about 35km away from Zavala. The south side of Island Hvar is one
of the sunniest parts of Dalmatian coast, the nature is wonderful and
peacefull, there are many beautiful beaches, and hidden places. |
